Consider Vocational School at an Accredited Online College

Cell phones, computers, and artificial intelligence are evolving at a rapid pace. But technology solutions can never totally replace tradespeople. There will always be a need for those who are skilled at working with their hands. If this kind of work is for you, Ashworth College is an accredited online vocational school that can get you started in a variety of trades.

If you’re not sure where to begin, look for something that’s interesting and meaningful to you. We offer a range of vocational courses from residential electrician training to carpentry to HVAC certification prep. The three online programs below are popular options. Have you considered...?

Residential Electrician

Enroll in the Residential Electrician Career Diploma program and you’ll prep to work as an electrician in homes and businesses. Our online vocational school courses cover important terms, basic electrical theories and practices, wiring, safety, installation and more. The lessons align with National Electrical Code (NEC) wiring standards.

Carpentry

Become a Carpentry Career Diploma student and you’ll learn about frameworks and structures for homes and businesses. These vocational courses cover everything from foundations to roofing. Plus, you'll learn about everything between like stairs, windows, decks and walls. You’ll review all the tools, plans, and codes needed and learn how to use them, too.

Heating and Air Conditioning

Join the HVAC Career Diploma program and you’ll get training to work with residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Your vocational school training will start with the work environment, trade organizations, regulations and safe work habits. You’ll then cover each kind of system that’s maintained by an HVAC technician. The lessons prepare you for the Environmental Protection Agency Section 608 Certification Exam. The Federal Clean Air Act requires all HVAC technicians to have this certification.
