Military spouse education at Ashworth College
As a military spouse, education may not be at the top of your to-do list. Daily commitments to your family, frequent PCS, and spouse deployments aren’t very conducive for returning to school. Fortunately, Ashworth College offers more than 100 career training and degree programs that are MyCAA-eligible and designed for flexible learning. Our online courses make education possible regardless of your schedule and location, and our seasoned Military Services Advisors are here to help you achieve your goals.
MyCAA benefits eligibility
Military spouses of active duty Army, Air Force, Marines, and Navy service members, as well as National Guard members and reservists, are welcome to apply MyCAA benefits to career diploma, career certificate, and associate degree courses at Ashworth College.
In order to qualify for MyCAA benefits, a spouses’ Sponsor must be one of the following pay grades: E1 to E5, W1 to W2, or O1 to 02. Additionally, the spouse must complete the Ashworth College program during his or her Sponsor’s Title 10 Active Duty Orders. Your eligibility and benefits amounts must be determined by the Department of Defense prior to your enrollment.
Online learning experience
Our flexible online career school and college degree programs are ideal for military spouses because of our self-paced learning model. Log on to your courses at your convenience without worrying about taking time away from your other commitments. To help you maintain balance in your schedule, our online learning environment is available 24/7 for study, research, and communications with teachers, tutors, or advisors. Plus, our online Military Student Community is always available for peer support. Remember, though, if you are a military spouse applying MyCAA benefits to your tuition, you must complete your studies during your Sponsor’s Title 10 Active Duty Orders.
