What is the difference between a degree, diploma, and certificate?
One of the biggest differences between a degree, diploma, and certificate is the time it takes to earn them. A degree comes in many forms and takes the longest to complete. It can be an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, or even a doctorate.
Certificate programs often take months instead of years. Diploma programs offer a more in-depth curriculum than a certificate, but they are more like a certificate than a degree.
