Rules and Regulations

Congratulations on joining the Ashworth Moms Challenge, sponsored by Ashworth College. We're confident that you'll enjoy charting your achievements and enjoy building relationships with other moms.

Duration:

The Ashworth Moms Challenge begins February 1, 2009, 12:01 a.m. EST and concludes April 30, 2009, 11:59 p.m. EST. All Challenge-related activities and deadlines must occur within this timeframe. No exceptions will be made. Online voting for the favorite video, as well as judging of the essay contest will take place May 1, 2009 – May 8, 2009. Winners will be posted on AshworthMoms.com and notified via email no later than May 11, 2009.

Participation:

Participation in the Moms Diaries is open to all who have registered and agree to follow the content guidelines. Should Ashworth deem any diary content as inappropriate for any reason, the diary will be removed. If removed, the diary will not be eligible for prizes.

Participation in the video content is open anyone submitting an original to the location provided on AshworthMoms.com. By posting, the creator agrees to follow the content guidelines. Should Ashworth deem the video content as inappropriate for any reason, it will be removed. If removed, the video will not be eligible for prizes.

Judging:

A panel of three judges comprised of one representative each from the Ashworth College marketing, administrative and education departments will serve as contest judges. Judges will consider originality, creativity, and content. Judges will be responsible for determining the top three video submissions, awarding the prize for the winning essay and selecting the top video winner in the case of a tie.

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded for Challenge-related submissions between 2/1/09 and 4/30/09, only. Only one winner per prize. Ashworth reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize.Only winning entrants will be notified by phone or email on or before May 10, 2009. Ashworth College reserves the right to reject entries that are discovered to be, and not limited to, plagiarized, not the original design of the Challenge participant or containing unsuitable content as deemed by the judging committee.

$50 Netflix gift certificate. Only posters to the Moms Diaries will be included in a random drawing for this prize.

$50 iTunes gift card. Only original recipients of the Moms Challenge announcement email and forwarding the same email to 10 valid and unique email address will be included in a random drawing for this prize.

Kodak EASYSHARE Digital Picture Frame. Only original videos submitted for the Moms Challenge will be eligible for said prize. The prize will be awarded based upon public voting between 5/1/09-5/8/09. Ashworth reserves the right to limit the number of video eligible for voting. In the case of a tie, the prize recipient will be the decision of the Ashworth College selection committee. Ashworth reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize.

Flip Video Camcorder. Only original essays submitted for the Moms Diaries will be eligible for said prize. The prize recipient will be the decision of the Ashworth College selection committee between 5/1/09-5/8/09. Ashworth reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize.

Note: All entries become the property of Ashworth College and its subsidiaries and assigns. All entrants automatically authorize use of written content, videos, artwork, name and likeness without limit of frequency or time, and release Ashworth from any indemnity, liability or payments. Entrants also affirm permission to reproduce written content, videos, and/or artwork for promotional, education and informational purposes, that may involve inclusion in or in connection with Ashworth College advertising, publications, descriptive literature, email campaigns and websites.

Prize Notification:

Only winning entrants will be notified by phone or email on or before May 10, 2009. Complete credits and any additional material required for reproduction purposes will be requested at that time. Ashworth College reserves the right to reject entries that are discovered to be plagiarized or not the original design of the Challenge participant.
