Our Ashworth College Veterinary Technician Associate Degree program was launched in 2016 and now boasts more than 2,000 students. We have applied for accreditation through the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA) and the application has been accepted. Our initial accreditation is pending a CVTEA site visit scheduled for August. Our application for accreditation does not guarantee accreditation. All students who graduate after accreditation has been granted will be recognized as graduates of an accredited veterinary technology program. You can get more information about AVMA accreditation by visiting www.avma.org.
If you are considering pursuing an associate degree and becoming a vet tech, you can learn more about our program by calling an Admissions representative at 1-800-957-5412 or visiting us online at: Veterinary Technician Associate Degree.
