Ashworth College is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year! As a nationally accredited institution, Ashworth is proud to have more than 300,000 alumni across the United States and around the world. From our humble beginnings as a family-owned school with a single course in real estate appraisal in 1987, Ashworth College has evolved into a global leader in the online learning world. Today, Ashworth offers more than 125 career certificates and associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees in high-demand industries like business, healthcare, education, technology, trades, creative services and legal studies.

In honor of this 30-year milestone, we’d like to share 30 stories from Ashworth College online alumni on our Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages for the next 30 days.

A great deal has changed in our 30-year history. The rise of the personal computer, the invention of the Internet as well as the growing popularity of online education. But, throughout those changes Ashworth College kept a focus on offering a quality education to our students, on your terms; giving students the chance to learn when and where you want. That kind of personalization and flexibility, along with affordable degrees and career training, are what students have come to expect from Ashworth College – with over 90 percent of students saying they achieved their goals based on their education with Ashworth.

Today, Ashworth College remains committed to living up to those expectations, putting students and alumni at the heart of everything we do. Because of that, who better to tell the Ashworth College story than the people who have used our platform to achieve their goals? The “30 Years & 30 Stories” series will feature 30 alumni talking about their experience, why they went back to school and words of encouragement for anyone thinking about going to college online. Follow along daily on social media or watch the entire series as a playlist on the Ashworth College YouTube channel.

As part of the 30th Anniversary celebration, Ashworth also created a video to celebrate online education. Anyone interested in learning more can check out the “30 Things to Know About Online Education and Distance Learning ” video. From all of us at Ashworth College, thank you for your continued support in our next 30 years of online education!
