The healthcare field is booming. As careers in healthcare are on the rise, with expected 14 percent growth by 2029, we at Ashworth saw a need to expand our healthcare programs.
We’ve added three new online training programs to our robust healthcare programs. Our new programs include Advanced Medical Coding, Electronic Medical Records and Medical Office Receptionist. These programs are designed to give students like you the opportunity to get ahead in their respective medical careers.
Our Advanced Medical Coding program is intended for healthcare professionals who have already been working in the field. It’s the perfect program for those with a basic understanding of coding who wish to take their skills to the next level. This extended and focused coding course will help students increase their speed and accuracy to code and sequence more complicated diagnoses and procedures according to nationally established guidelines.
If you’re someone who has previous experience in the healthcare industry, but have been away from the workplace, our Electronic Medical Records program program is for you. This course will give you work-focused practice on how to use the latest medical records software systems. This will help prepare you for the most recent technological changes in the workplace and improve the quality of care for patients as well as the clinicians you’ll be working under.
If you’re just looking to get started in the healthcare field earning a career certificate through our Medical Office Receptionist course is a perfect launching point. You’ll have the opportunity to learn skills that keep medical offices running smoothly, and make everyone’s lives easier. From there, you can move on to bigger and better things, but it’s a great way to get your foot in the door.
