Introduction to Composition

Description:
This course examines the fundamentals of composition. Beginning with sentence construction, you'll move on to paragraphs and essays, and read writing examples by both amateur and professional authors. During your study of the novel Animal Farm, you will learn about symbolism, propaganda, and how history and literature can be interrelated. Then, you'll explore ways to make your writing more interesting by extending your vocabulary and using literary devices.
