I am proudly married to MA3 Shane Harrison who serves this fine country as a Master at Arms in the US Navy. Originally from a small town in Haralson County, GA, we are currently stationed at NSB Kingsbay, GA.

My husband will be transferring to a Navy base in Bahrain at the end this year. This will be his first deployment away from me and our 1 year old daughter, Shianna. We love children and plan on having more in the future.

After quitting high school, I went back to get my GED. Going back to school was an important decision for me. I wanted to go back to school to get something that would benefit me in life, and take my education to the next level.

Being a Military Spouse, we move around a lot. Choosing Ashworth was an easy decision because it is an online school it has allowed me to continue my studies without interruption. Plus the classes were so easy to understand and easy to afford.

As a military wife, I look forward to the future and getting to experience the world, taking part in both deployments and Homecomings.

As a Military Spouse, you experience a great difference inside, as if being in the military yourself. Hearing songs on the radio about military and war, gives you a feeling of pride. You look at the Flag in a totally different light. You walk with pride knowing that your spouse is fighting for our country.

It's an honor to stand beside the finest people in this world—those who are willing to put their lives and families on the back burner to fight for our country. Just being able to support them is an amazing feeling.
