Ashworth College Appoints New Chief Technology Officer and Director of Information Technology
NORCROSS, Georgia – August 10, 2010 – Ashworth College, a leading provider of accredited, online education programs, announced today that Nial McLoughlin has been appointed Chief Technology Officer and Director of Information Technology. McLoughlin brings more than 16 years of experience in business and technology management to his new role at Ashworth (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu).
Prior to Ashworth, McLoughlin ran a small software business delivering technology solutions to the airline industry, growing this business from a small, one-customer business to a provider to the nation’s largest airlines. He also spent a number of years in the technology consulting world, primarily with Sapient – a leading interactive consulting firm, providing technology solutions to customers ranging from small start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.

McLoughlin has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Georgia State University. He and his wife have three sons and in his spare time he enjoys biking, running and triathlons.
