Distance Education leader Ashworth College sponsors Rainbow Village youth
NORCROSS, Georgia – June 14, 2010 – "Ashworthy Causes", Ashworth College's (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu) on-going community outreach program, has kicked off its latest fundraising initiative to support Rainbow Village youth.
Over the past several weeks, the Georgia-based online college administration and staff has collect donations and goods with the proceeds to be used to provide summer-related necessities. The school will be providing everything from lunch boxes and backpacks to clothes, a beach towel and swim goggles – items that are both practical and fun.
"Being an education company, we are always aware of the needs of our youth and the Rainbow Village initiative is an ideal way to give back," said Jeannie Brady, Ashworth Director of Human Resources. "It's always exciting to see our staff rally around a worthwhile cause."
Known as a leading provider of nationally accredited online education programs, Ashworth College prides itself in its community outreach endeavors and regularly supports several organizations to include Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, the American Cancer Society, The Salvation Army and March of Dimes.
