Ashworth Career School Graduate Nominated For Honor Society Membership
NORCROSS, Georgia – June 16, 2008 – Brooklyn resident, Mark Anthony Fraser has been nominated by Ashworth Career School for membership into Delta Epsilon Tau International Honor Society for Distance Learning.
Fraser recently graduated from Ashworth's Property Management career diploma course. He previously received an Ashworth diploma for Small Business Management.
"Students graduating from Ashworth demonstrate a significant commitment to education," according to Jon Bouffler, Ashworth Executive Vice President. Coming from all walks of life, many balance families, careers, and education in order to achieve their goals. To accomplish all this and achieve a high GPA deserves special recognition."
Delta Epsilon Tau (ΔΕΤ), headquartered in Millville, DE, is sponsored by The Distance Education and Training Council and is the only Honor Society in America that represents accredited distance learning institutions. Outstanding students can list the distinction of membership in Delta Epsilon Tau on all future resumes when pursuing employment. ΔΕΤ also provides professional networking opportunities with other Chapters.
Established in 1997, ΔΕΤ members currently represent 25 colleges and universities in 14 states.
To be nominated, graduating students must have met select criteria, including a minimum 3.5 GPA. As part of their membership, Ashworth graduates will receive a personalized Certificate of Membership and the Delta Epsilon Tau Gold Key of Distinction.
As the first school to receive a charter within the state of Georgia, Ashworth College receives the Alpha Chapter designation.
