High School Faculty

In addition to our on-site administrative faculty, our high school programs are supported by a distinguished team of certified teachers (online courses only) and dedicated academic tutors (correspondence courses only). We promise to provide you with the close, careful guidance and personal instruction you need to maximize your understanding of each lesson and smooth your course progress.

F. Milton Miller, Ed.D.

Position: Principal

Dr. Miller earned his Ed.D. in vocational/technical education and his M.S. in administration and supervision, both from the University of Missouri. He has been a tenured college professor, and has vast experience managing curriculum development, faculty, policy implementation and planning for educational institutions. In directing the activities of Ashworth College, Dr. Miller researches and develops new courses and ensures that the highest quality of instruction is received by each and every student. Dr. Miller also manages the accreditation of our courses with the Distance Education and Training Council, the Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Lisa Bryde

Position: Director High School

Lisa has a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Georgia and is working on her Doctorate in Education. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary English Education from Georgia State University. She has authored several articles on learning styles and brain-based learning and has lead workshops for educators on how to effectively develop and deliver curricula to address various approaches to learning.

Renee Mason

Position: Registrar

Ms. Mason earned B.A. in Marketing and Management from Western Michigan University. Ms. Mason has been working with online and correspondence students for 5 years and she looks forward to helping you achieve your educational goals.
