Steve has been employed for more than 25 years with the Mississippi Crime Laboratory, where he is currently the Section Chief of the Firearm and Tool Mark Unit. He is a Distinguished Member of the Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners and holds a forensic certification of Diplomate from the American Board of Criminalistics.

Carla Hardy, M.S.
Carla is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a strength and conditioning specialist, and by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America as a group exercise instructor. She has served as a high school track coach, personal trainer, exercise physiologist and group exercise instructor. Carla currently works as the Wellness Coordinator at Emory University's Blomeyer Health and Fitness Center.

Nicole House, J.D.
Nicole brings more than 30 years of experience in management and the legal field to the classroom. She currently works as copy editor and a curriculum developer for Ashworth College and also provides consulting services for various firms. Before her present position, Nicole worked as director of practice management and director of marketing for the law firm of Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, in Atlanta, Georgia. Previous to that, Nicole was a staff attorney in the Atlanta Regional Office of the Federal Trade Commission. Her experience also includes 12 years as a law firm administrator, including for the law firm Mudge Rose Guthrie & Alexander in Washington, D.C. Nicole's academic background includes a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, and a J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, Atlanta, Georgia. She is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia.
